Rayzed

Rayzed, pronounced "raised",is a trio hailing from Fremont, CA and was formed in the middle of 2006. Rayzed is composed of Raymund Santos on lead guitar
and vocals, Zed Pisec on bass and vocals, Yap Elvina on drums, and band friend Marco Santos as guest guitar during live shows. Our one goal as musicians is to touch people with our music. We are not playing music to be famous, we just want a chance
to share the music that means so much to us, and hopefully have someone say "I can relate so much to that song".

Rayzed debuted at The Green Tortoise, opening for
The Motherhumbuckers on September 3, 2006. Rayzed has played numerous shows after that memorable debut.

The sound of Rayzed can not be defined since each member has broad musical influences. Rayzed songs, however, are honest and written the way they were
intended to be. They are not crafted to be unique or try to be overly "different". Also, we do not try to "fit" ourselves to what is "in". We play what we like and we have FUN!!!! Although our currently recorded songs on our demo reflect our sensitive, loving emotions, don't let the softness fool you.
If you ever catch us on stage, our funk roots and blues rock demons come out!

Our song "Yo-kulele" was selected to be on the upcoming album "Rock in the Box" from New Jersey based Soulworks Records. Watch out for it this summer of 2008!
